to a broad range of support including 24-hour helplines and professional
advice from appropriate independent experts.
The Helping Hand service, which is included in the cost of all
Bright Grey plans, can give you much needed support at very difficult
times in your life. The NHS and private health care organisations will help you with medical care but they can't always provide the emotional and practical support most people and their families need.
Our Helping Hand service is designed to offer you and your family a broad range of support as soon as you make a claim, or as soon as you or a member of your family:
• dies
• becomes critically or terminally ill
• is unable to work due to long-term sickness or injury
Helping Hand works in 2 ways:
1. emotional and practical support from a professional nurse adviser
2. professionally manned helplines whenever you need them
